Hello Blue Jays! I am so excited to be a teacher at Moore Magnet Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year! I teach Kindergarten and First Grade students with Special Education Services. I provide reading, math, and social skills interventions, with the goal of bringing every child up to grade level.
This is my 19th year in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System, and my 29th year of teaching. I grew up in Michigan, started my career in Oklahoma and spent three more years in Michigan before settling here in Clarksville, Tennessee, where I have lived with my family for 23 years. I will be celebrating my 29th wedding anniversary this year, and have 4 beautiful children, 2 girls and 2 boys, and two grandchildren in Texas. I love to read, take walks, crochet, and spend time with my family.
I am looking forward to a challenging and fabulous year here at Moore Magnet School!
