CMCSS Traditional Model Safety and Health Overview
In the traditional model, students are physically present in their zoned schools. While the traditional model will provide some normalcy during the pandemic, there will be several district-wide and school-specific precautions and modifications in place to mitigate, not eliminate, risk of COVID-19.
Enrollment Information 2020-2021
Yesterday evening, all kindergarten through 9th-grade students who are new to CMCSS for the 2020-21 school year whose parents/guardians had already pre-enrolled on enroll.cmcss.net were automatically moved into CMCSS’ student information system (PowerSchool). District Offices Reopening
District and school offices are closed to the public on Friday, Aug. 28. Central Services Gracey is open to the public by appointment only Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Corona Virus Update in CMCSS
Over the past few weeks, a Communicable Disease Team (CDT) comprised of leaders from CMCSS and the Montgomery County Health Department have been meeting regularly to review the latest guidance from the CDC, monitor the health and attendance of CMCSS students and employees, and make recommendations to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
MooreBots Compete in FLL West TN Regional Championship
The MooreBots, our varsity robotics team, competed in the FLL (First Lego League) West Tennessee Regional Championship in Memphis January 25th, 2020. Moore Magnet’s open enrollment parent information meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Applications will be available online beginning January 15, 2020.
